Marilyn Manson Sucks

This 1 man is held up by goths as some sort of hero. Even as a god by some. Like it or not he is intensly popular. I have nothing against Marilyn Manson at all. Unfortunately he seems to have some kind of deranged following. Y'know the Goths who like Manson tend to be the ones I talked about on 'Why Goths Suck'. But now i will go into this disturbing part in a bit more detail.

His fans are the biggest concern to anyone with the ability to think for themselves. So many are mindless zombies and would willingly follow Manson forever. Like the fans in front row screaming "I'll die for you Manson!" or "I want your child!". Please. If only these people could see the irony in everything Manson does. Manson is openly critical on Christianity, So lets make look at both of them. 1st - Christianity. They sing hymns , fold their hands to pray , and pass aroung the collection plate. Now Manson. He sings songs in front of 10,000 black clad kids (who are most probably anti-religous) who all sing along with him [sort of like a hymn].  His fans all throw their fists in the air [prayer] and instaed of a collection plate you give him your money at HMV or a ticket office. Yet despite these similarities none of his fans notice a thing. Then there is the moron part. The ones walking around with Manson hoodies that say "When I'm god everyone dies" (The most idiot statement anyone could make). Running about scaring old ladies and generally being a nuisance to everyone (and they think townies are irritating?).

Of course the hardcore element is even worse. For any of you whom have read Manson's Autobiography then you will know what  we are dealing with. In the middle are assorted photographs. The one with 2 gothic girls one of which has 'Marilyn' engraved on her chest and the other has 'Manson' is a disgrace. Why would you do that? Isn't buying the CD's and going to gigs enough? How far will some of these people go to show off their dedication to the Manson cause?

It's ironic that his gothic fans (who constantly claim to be open-minded) are instantly hateful whenever someone disagree's with them about Manson. Personally i don't mind him. He's rich, succesful & has a porn star girlfriend. He's made money by peddling songs with little true insightful comments to 14 year olds. It's no different than N*Sync or The Backstreet Boys. It's all marketing and Manson is just marketed to a different type of person.

Lets be honest a lot of people get into Manson because either they want to scare and piss-off their parents or they just like the look of Goths. If you really want to scare your parents read Nietzsche.It's the people who get into Manson and the whole Goth scene for completely the wrong reasons that this site is bout.

 I am sick to death of people who think that manson loves his fans. He deosn't. he is in it for the money.end of story. You empty your wallet and he opens his bank account to let it all flood in. You are nothing but fools who are being taken for a ride by a showman who stole the act from Alice Cooper and proclaims himself to be original.

His lyrics which some percieve to be insightful are often nothing more than plain silly,

Yes quite the lyrical genuis , isn't he?
